Histoire
Restauration

Mrs sally kidson, avril 2012: An excellent all round service and delightful accommodation,
Mr Geoffrey Searle, octobre 2011: A nice place to stay as long as you accept a student room - and very cheap.
Mrs Véronique von Brück, octobre 2011: I really enjoyed my so pleasant room, the lovely surroundings and every body´s friendliness. What a pity that I couldn´t stay longer... Thank you!
Dr Henry Andrews, octobre 2011: A lovely setting to stay in for a conference at the college.
Food was excellent.
Ms Kayla Friedman, septembre 2011: In general this was a very pleasant room and stay. I realize it was a student room, however, as an overnight conference accommodation it would have been nice to have a full length mirror and a clock in the room. I also had to return to the Porter's Lodge to get directions to breakfast- this could also have been available in the room. But really, otherwise it was perfectly pleasant with a lovely view and ideal for attending my conference.
Mr niall fitzpatrick, août 2011: sorry, cant remember the room number, Really enjoyable time spent with you and gainin a glimpse of college life at the same time
Many thanks
Mr George O'Mahony, août 2011: Porters very friendly and accommodating - needed to leave car for a few hours after checking out. A car is a liability in Oxford.
Mr Chris SANNE, avril 2011: it was a great experience, people were very friendly and perfectly organized! Very central location plus good parking! We would stay there again!
Elaine Simkins, septembre 2010: It was a great stay, very clean room and I like the little extras with the shampoos, shower gel etc.,
I would definitely book again and recommend this service to my room.
Also I would like to say that the porter were both very pleasant and helpful.
jackie ridley, septembre 2010: rxcellent venue for our reunion.
pity about the tiny bathrooms which reminded us of being on a train.
we thought it unnecessary to change towels for the second night - not very ecofriendly
Mrs Valerie Hiles, septembre 2010: Location perfect. Good value for money. Cooked breakfast not very warm. Would have been glad of some heating in the room. Otherwise very happy with our stay at Lady Margaret Hall.
Mrs Frances L Jones, septembre 2010: The college porters were very friendly, kind and patient
Sigga Emilie Nordgaard Coker, septembre 2010: Thank you for a beautiful stay. The service was excellent; the porters was ever smiling and for breakfast people showed attention and offered good service.
However, we have one small regret, which is the check out time. We found 9 am early and would have liked it to be a bit later. But that was the only thing.
Overall rating is excellent. Thank you, we would definitely recommend Lady Margaret's Hall to others.
Miss D M Walsh, septembre 2010: Very friendly and welcoming staff at the porters lodge.
Hannah Duff, septembre 2010: I thought that the 0930 check out was a little too early considering breakfast ran until 0930 it made it difficult to have breakfast and be out on time.
Other than that it was a good experience and I have recommended Oxford Rooms to friends and family.
Shevaun Chandola, septembre 2010: I had a great overall experience. I would book via university-rooms.com again in the future for sure.
Mrs Joan Ridsdale, septembre 2010: Basic facilities, as you would expect for student accommodation, but very clean and a very nice touch with a little bag of toiletries and fluffy white towels on the bed. There was no drinking water, so a bottle of mineral water with the teamaking tray would be good.
Geoffrey Evans, septembre 2010: A delightful two day stay. All concerned from reception to the staff at breakfast were courteous and helpful. LMH itself a delightful place with beautiful gardens. Most enjoyable. Will be happy to return.
Assoc. Prof. Anthony J. Langlois, août 2010: Generally very pleased. Bathrooms are very small! 9am checkout time is too early. Odd that rooms are not serviced on sundays....
Linda Talbot, août 2010: There was a very warm welcome from the porter who was extremely helpful. The room was spotless. There was no noise to disturb our stay. The setting was beautiful. I have already recommended the college to someone else to stay in when they visit Oxford.
Anna Burnell, août 2010: Porters were extremely helpful, and the availability of parking was much appreciated. Rooms were clean and well-equipped with plenty of towels. Would definitely stay again.
John Nash, août 2010: The location is excellent, being far enough away from the centre of Oxford to be quiet and peaceful but close enough to be able to walk to and from the city easily. The room and the service were very good, the only downside being the size of the en suite bathroom.
Debra Penman, août 2010: We very much enjoyed our stay at Lady Margaret Hall. It is very handy for the centre of Oxford, and is situated in attractive grounds, with a beautiful park nearby. The room was basic but comfortable, and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely do this again.
Alice Carter, août 2010: Our stay was excellent. The gentleman at the porters lodge was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Just a couple of points - the 9am check out time did seem very early. We were in a double room, which worked out at £50 per person, which seemed quite expensive when the single rooms were the same price per person. The toiletries were lovely though, clean linen and the towels were incredibly soft!
Mrs Jan Laidlow, août 2010: We thought the standard of the room really very basic but of course do understand these are student rooms and did not expect anything different. We would like to say that the gardens are outstanding and thoroughly enjoyed a long morning meander- the weather was kind. The porter also deserves a special mention - he was charming and helpful. Many thanks.
Howard Webb, août 2010: We very much enjoyed staying at Lady Magaret Hall. It was good to feel part of the university, but to be away from the tourist bustle. We liked the freedom to come and go as we pleased with our 'magic key', while knowing that the friendly porter was always there to help.
The breakfast was splendid and the gardens were a joy to walk in.
You did not mention that it was easy to walk from LMH into the city through the University Parks....this was an unexpected bonus....pleasant surroundings and no traffic....The close proximity of the Boat House (overlooking the Cherwell) for a delicious dinner was an added joy ..it was our wedding anniversary. Thank you to all resposible.
Andrea Malits, août 2010: The staff was very friendly, particularly the porters. Thank you very much indeed.
I also appreciated the wonderful college garden.
Margaret P. High, août 2010: I greatly enjoyed my experience at Lady Margaret Hall. I chose it for its beautiful gardens, and they did indeed provide a peaceful retreat at the end of a full day in central Oxford. My accommodation was clean and comfortable, the porters kind and informative and the breakfast excellent. I look forward to a return visit. Many thanks!
Mrs A GOSDEN, août 2010: What excellent service from all staff, smiling and helpful over every tiny query.Any 5* hotel staff could learn much from your porters! We played croquet under the trees with students many decades younger - fun for all.
Thank you - we will be back!
Caldicot Castle Croquet Club - August tour 2010
Robert Doyle, août 2010: Loved the accommodation. Only negative thing was check-out at 9am, this was too early and 11am would be better.
Chris Rembold, août 2010: need more bottled water since tap water not drinkable
Shelagh Sweeney, juillet 2010: The rooms were excellent, the porter welcomed us warmly, and all the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The grounds are beautiful, and I am sure we shall return.
maureen zelzer, juillet 2010: room spotless and on arrival assistance by gentleman at the lodge was very good. Couldn't work out how to get breakfast so gave it a miss (no problem as don't need a big meal so early) parking is brilliant. I would use this service agai and recommend it to other guides
Murdith McLean, juillet 2010: Price is a bit high for the standard of room, but we found the accommodation good and the breakfast excellent. Porters at the lodge were extremely helpful.
Mariangela Samuda, juillet 2010: Easy and straightforward booking on line.
LMH is a real gem of a place, with its beautiful gardens and quiet surroundings.
The room was larger than I thought, very clean, with no frills but the essential (which was exactly what I was after) and extremely peaceful. The bed was confortable and I managed to have a good, uninterrupted sleep. The area is residential and I felt very safe coming back late at night.
The dining hall is imposing and stupendous and the breakfast substantial and very good.
The staff very friendly and helpful.
A great experience to be repeated, hopefully, shortly.
Ben Ashmore, juillet 2010: Gentlemen at gatehouse was extremely helpful. Lovely stay
Paula McReelis, juillet 2010: A really great experience to stay in college accomodation, would recommend to others.
Arlene Ryan, juillet 2010: I loved staying in LMH @ Oxford. It was in a good location for visiting the city and easily accessable. The only down side was the size of the pod bathroom - however it was fully functioning and clean. - Just not quite what I expected. Would definately stay again - wonderful city!!
Terry Cowling, juillet 2010: The cubicle containing the en-suite facilities - wash basin, wc and shower - was extremely small. The gardens are lovely.
A. Kathryn Fern, juillet 2010: Enjoyed my stay very much. Spacious room, and super breakfast. LMH's setting on the river and beside the university parks is excellent - peaceful and pleasant.
Marian Kirkpatrick, avril 2010: Ideal in all respects, perfect location, beautiful setting, peaceful and tranquil.Helpful, friendly porters with a relaxed approach. A wonderful break in every respect made more special because the sun decided to shine too. Many thanks, I would certainly do it again!
Marjorie N Wisby, avril 2010: I enjoyed Oxford so much I stayed on another 3 days, which rather underscores my satisfaction with the accomodation.
Catherine Sackley, mars 2010: The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The setting was beautiful and peaceful. It was a lovely experience, enjoyed by all of our party. There were 9 of us altogether.
Toto Granucci, mars 2010: I had a very enjoyable experience and would certainly stay again.
I highly recommend the university rooms.
Nicolla Greaves, février 2010: For what we needed (a bed for the night) I thought the halls were a great place to stay and considering there are not many reasonably priced hotels in the centre of Oxford itself, the accommodation was perfect.
Caroline Parr, juillet 2009: The porters were particularly helpful with details such as bag storage and online access. The room was spartan but clean and tidy. Good value for money.
Erika Carbo Prachner, juillet 2009: It was a perfect stay. I will repeat as soon as I can.
Paul Watkinson, juillet 2009: My sons and I had a wonderful stay at LMH in July, while I was attending a study week at Oxford University for my Masters. If you want to experience the student life in a modern student building, walk around stunning grounds and have breakfast in an oak panelled dinning room you will not be disappointed. I have booked LMH again for my next study week in September when I will be bringing my wife who is starting a creative writing diploma at Oxford University.
Mr. D Armstrong, juillet 2009: We would like to make a special mention of the Porters who were most helpful and very friendly, and also the quality of the breakfast, first class.
